Who we are
Investment Club Zurich is a non-commercial student organisation affiliated with the University of Zurich and ETH Zurich. We operate this website for educational and informational purposes only. We can be reached at info@investmentclub-zh.ch.
What data we collect and why
The only personal data we collect is your email address, and only if you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter. We use it solely to send you updates and publications from Investment Club Zurich. We do not collect names, phone numbers, or any other personal information.
Who processes your data
Newsletter emails are sent via Resend (Resend Inc., USA), our email delivery provider. Your email address is stored in their system for the purpose of sending you our newsletter. Resend processes data in accordance with GDPR-compliant data processing agreements. No other third parties receive your data.
How long we keep your data
Your email address is retained for as long as you remain subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us directly at info@investmentclub-zh.ch. Upon unsubscription your address is removed from our mailing list.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. No cookies that identify you personally are set. Our hosting provider Vercel may temporarily process standard server log data (such as anonymised IP addresses) for infrastructure and security purposes — this is not used to profile visitors.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@investmentclub-zh.ch. We will respond within 30 days.
Legal basis
We process your email address on the basis of your consent, given when you submitted your email via our newsletter form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if our data practices change. The date at the bottom of this page reflects when it was last revised. Continued use of the site or newsletter after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
